Friday September 17 (see notes below *):

4:00 pm Meet for parade at 4:30
7:30 pm Football Game in Memorial Stadium against Monahans

After-game reception for all classes in the Fireplace Room, Howard College Student Union Bldg.  Healthy drinks and fingerfoods will be provided.

*Parking for the parade is offered by Family Life Church at 11th and Donley, or park as close to this as you can (This was the former Trinity Baptist Church, and further back a grocery store).  Look for our float in front of the High School.  Wear comfortable clothing. If you have a t-shirt from a former reunion or one of school colors that would be nice.  If you are attending the game and need tickets be at the stadium at least by 6:45 or 7:00 as the game starts at 7:30.

Saturday September 18:

 

Saturday 11:00 am.  Meet at the First Methodist Church Youth Hall 4th. & Scurry for registration and visiting.  The program will begin at 12:00 followed by the noon luncheon.  The meal is $5.00 per person and there will be an opportunity to donate toward honorariums and expenses.  The class of 55 will join us for lunch and have invited us to their dance in the evening.  

 

Tours to be announced .  Again wear comfortable clothing and shoes.

 

Following the tours, you may change into your western clothing and head for the Hog Heaven Party Barn located at 4010 West Hwy 80.

The building is identified by a sign.  If you need to change clothes there you may do so.  We will have the program before the meal which includes our classmate and well-known speaker Sandy Swartz Brady, ending with the catered meal of BBQ and trimmings costing $10.00 per person. Visitation can continue after the meal or you may exit to rest before attending the dance at the La Vedera Club located at 1100 W. I-20.
 

Casual clothing again is recommended or you may continue wearing your western clothing.  The dance will  begin at 8 or 8:30.  There is no set fee for attending but you may make a donation to the class of 55 if you so desire.  The music will be provided by Monroe Casey and the Prowlers.
